It was the ‘Swedish Invasion Special’ on Tiesto’s most recent episode of his free podcast ‘Club Life’ and boy was it amazing!  An entire episode dedicated to highlighting the producers and djs of Sweden!  Tracks by John Dahlback, Adrian Lux, Otto Knows, Sebastian Ingrosso & Alesso, Eric Prydz, AN21 & Max Vangeli, Axwell, Marcus Schossow, Avicii, Albin Myers, and Swedish House Mafia are featured.  The Swedish djs and producers all commented that the long, dark winter contributes to a great deal of quality studio time and that not all Swedes are in fact blonde!  However, what stood out most to me (in such a male-dominated industry) were two incredibly talented up and coming girl djs: Rebecca & Fiona.

Rebecca & Fiona have already starred in their own reality tv show in Sweden and are currently climbing the music charts there as well.  They just recently kicked off their North American tour this past Thursday in San Francisco.  They just recently released an album titled ‘I love you man’ and with a slew of other singles it’s no doubt that Rebecca & Fiona will soon be taking the EDM world by storm.  Check out some of their singles and some footage of them on tour!
